Companies urged to showcase their excellence in bid for prize
Companies throughout Ayrshire are being urged to take their shot at this year’s Business Excellence Award.
The scheme, run by the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce, recognises small and medium enterprises “committed to excellence and following a path of continuous improvement”.
The award is free to enter and open to firms with less than 250 employees in manufacturing, social enterprise or the service industry.
Winners are announced at the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce annual dinner to be held at Trump Turnberry on March 6, 2020.
Lisa Stewart, Project Executive, Business Excellence Ayrshire, explained: “The Business Excellence Award is not only a prestigious award, but also a hugely beneficial process for your business.
“The unique application process requires you to evaluate your own business and performance.
“They may not realise it, but there are many businesses doing things without considering what they are doing is actually considered as excellent in a formal setting.”
A workshop to help guide businesses through the application process and the key elements the judging panel will look for is being held in the Boardroom of Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce, on Monday, November 4 between 10am– 12pm.
