The Arnold Clark dealership in Prestwick has been refused permission by South Ayrshire Licensing Sub-Committee to sell cars in their area.

It was discovered that a licence granted by the former Kyle and Carrick District Council had lapsed in December 1993.

Glen Gall, managing director of Arnold Clark, said:“We will be putting in a re-application and taking steps to improve our management processes.”
