NHS Ayrshire & Arran has welcomed new Chief Executive Claire Burden to the organisation.
Claire joined the Board last week, taking over from Professor Hazel Borland, Interim Chief Executive.
Lesley Bowie, Chair of Ayrshire and Arran NHS Board, said: “On behalf of NHS Ayrshire & Arran, I am delighted to welcome Claire to the team.
“I would like to give my sincere thanks to Professor Hazel Borland for leading NHS Ayrshire & Arran, following the departure of our former Chief Executive John Burns in June 2021.”
Claire (pictured above) has more than 17 years’ management experience in NHS England, previously working as Chief Executive Officer at Whipps Cross Hospital, London.
