Thought for the week..

Imagine that! The first month of 2022 is over and I’m still hardly in the way of getting the year correct when I write the date!

I wonder if you are as bad as me. Dates are funny things. Sometimes it matters very much indeed that we get a date exactly right.

There are not many wives who would appreciate being wished a happy anniversary two days late, or two days early, for that matter.

God made today; whatever the date on which you read this, and today is the day we should praise him.

The Bible says,‘This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.’It may be that we don’t feel like rejoicing today, that we are not glad. But perhaps, if we were to look less at ourselves and our problems, and more at God who made today and gave it to us, we would feel more like rejoicing. (see Psalm 118:24 in the Bible)
