CORRECTION
In our Memory Lane edition of February 16, we published a picture of the Ayr Speed Skating Club from the 1950s.
We also told how Glen Henderson was part of the club team which broke the world three-mile relay record. Glen was the British quarter-mile speed skating record holder.
We are happy to clarify that the three-mile relay team included John Hunter, Robert Pettigrew, Alex Connell and Albert McNicol.
