Fitness is lots of fun at free sport sessions

Ayrshire Muslim Education Centre is running free multi-skill sports sessions for young people.

The ‘fun with a ball’ sessions, which are currently underway, are taking place at Centrestage village, just yards away from the education centre’s London Road base in Kilmarnock.

The sessions are being run and were developed by rugby player and professional sports coach Shabaz Khan.

They will focus on key skills like agility, balance, coordination, through running, throwing, jumping and team-building games.

These sessions start at 6.30pm, and will run every Wednesday evening until March 16.
