Lack of leadership

-

So we are to have a Spacehub to send things into space.

Anything that brings jobs and possibly highly paid jobs to the area is to be wholeheartedly welcomed. However, if the point of departure is to be defined by the destination why do we not already have Barcelona Hubs and Florida Hubs? Airports get things off the ground. And hopefully bring them back too. That’s what they do. So much spin, so little substance. So many visuals, so many faux consultations, so many unproductive meetings, all as our politicians jump on the latest soundbite donning another non existent suit of clothes. All this curiously ahead of local elections Meanwhile, in other space news, aliens who incredibly had not heard of the City of South Ayrshire or the Spacehub, landed on the Low Green last week and entered what they took to be the home of the Tribal Leaders, apparently lying abandoned for over two years. Observing best space protocols the biggest and greenest alien asked the lonely concierge to “Take me to your Leader”. Apparently no leaders could be found. John Dunlop, Ayr
