Palestine peace

Ayrshire Amnesty International is supporting a Week of Action between March 21- March 27 which relates to the ongoing struggle of the Palestinian people for freedom and justice .

The main purpose of the Week of Action is to highlight a 280-page report recently produced by Amnesty International headquarters .

This report has found that Palestinians in the Occupied Palestinian Territories and those living in Israel live with cruel policies of segregation, dispossession and exclusion amounting to crimes against humanity .

The report also says that Palestinians are treated as an inferior racial group and systematically deprived of their rights . One of the conclusions of the report is that a system of apartheid is being used against the Palestinian people .

The report is a damning condemnation of the Government of Israel and the human rights abuses it perpetrates on the Palestinian people .

Time for the Israeli authorities to respond positively to this report and end their Apartheid policies towards the Palestinian people .
