Danceathon coins it in to help save lives
Kind youngsters at a primary school took part in marathon all day dancing to raise cash to save lives.
Pupils at Coylton Primary School were involved in a danceathon on Wednesday, March 15.
The fundraising event was aimed at raising cash for two community defibrillators for the village.
The danceathon was organised to raise funds for the primary school and also Claude Hamilton Hall.
Coylton Primary Parent Council along with Coylton Community Association have secured grant funding to buy two defibrillators for the village.
One will be installed on the outside of the school wall and the other on the outside of the Claude Hamilton Hall.
Both will be accessible 24 hours a day via secure cabinets for everyone in the community to use if the need arises.
The grant has been awarded by St John Scotland’s Defibrillator Project on the agreement a further £2000 is raised to part fund them.
St John’s will provide community training upon installation.
