All aboard the ‘Poppy Bud’truck
Pupils from Maidens and Fisherton Primaries were fortunate enough to receive a visit from Poppy Bud.
‘Bud’is Poppyscotland’s 18-tonne truck that transforms into a mobile exploration and learning space - comprising a mini poppy factory, with each child being given the opportunity to make their own poppy, micro-museum and interactive learning space to facilitate knowledge and understanding about the poppy and the significance of remembrance.
The bus was situated at Harbour Road car park in Maidens.
The schools would like to thank Poppscotland for the truck’s visit.
