We started with Beavertown Neck Oil for me and a Coca-Cola for my companion then had the pub’s sharing steak night – £40 for a medium sirloin which included onion rings, huge chunky chips with truffle mayonnaise and a red wine jus. The deal also included a bottle of red wine.

The Kings Arms is regarded highly and it really isn’t difficult to see why with food on a par with any decent restaurant all wrapped up with the cosy, community feel you get with a pub.
