Put your best foot forward for Kiltwalk
Ayrshire Cancer Support will take part in this year’s Kiltwalk.
And they are now urging the good people of Ayrshire to help them raise valuable funds.
Ayrshire Cancer Support are appealing to the local community to get signed up and choose them as their charity recipient.
This year, Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation will be topping up all funds by 50 per cent so Ayrshire Cancer Support is one of the charities that will benefit.
Laura Brown, Head of Income and Communications said:“This past year must have been one of the hardest on record where fundraising activities continued to be badly affected by coronavirus.
“Ayrshire Cancer Support have seen increased costs because we are still taking one patient per car to hospital where we would have taken three prior to the pandemic.
“We urgently need help to ensure that patients affected by cancer, here in Ayrshire aren’t forgotten about. Please sign up today to the Kiltwalk as a way of showing cancer patients in Ayrshire they are still very much in your thoughts.”
