Passenger dies on road outside village
A female passenger of a car has died after taking unwell on a road outside a village.
The woman was declared dead at the scene after cops raced to Glenmuir Road, Logan, last Thursday afternoon.
The road into the East Ayrshire village was closed off for several hours with traffic diverted during the emergency response around 2.15pm.
Police have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Glenmuir Road, Logan around 2.15pm on Thursday, 31 March, 2022 to a report a woman had taken unwell. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
“There are no suspicious circumstances and a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
