Final curtain raised on concert series
Ayr Music Club’s concert series‘ Music in Ayr’came to a successful end with a performance by The Twa Threeds.
The club were fortunate to bag the duo at very short notice following the cancellation of the previously booked performers. The Twa Threeds, made up of Diane Merson-Jones on violin and guitarist John Scott, entertained the audience with their interesting mix of classical, pop, Scottish and folk tunes. The concert series showcased a variety of styles throughout including classical repertoire as well as popular theme tunes, jigs and reels. Music in Ayr 2022-2023 will begin on October 15 when the guest artistes will be the Sinopia String Quartet.
