A life-long Liverpool fan will soon be putting on his walking boots for a marathon trek in memory of his idol, Ayrshire-born Bill Shankly.
Pensioner Jack Moran plans to walk from Anfield to Shankly’s birthplace in the remote village of Glenbuck- in just one week.
Jack’s trek took approximately 230 miles to complete and he says he was doing it to raise money for charity and to honour the legendary manager who revived the club’s fortunes.
