Peter Henderson (SNP)

Mr Henderson has been council leader since 2020. He was a Director General of Customs and Revenue and lives in the ward with his wife. He said:“My work and life experience allows me to apply my knowledge to continue to attract investment and opportunities for South Ayrshire sustainability and growth, encouraging the regeneration of Girvan and other rural villages to retain a skill base and attract new life to these areas.
