The Prestwick of old

The Golf Inn, with the dormers on the left, has outlived almost everything. This image simply calls it “The Street, Prestwick” presumably because there was only one. The Vine now stands where the Royal Hotel was.

And that’s John Brown’s bakery horse and car delivering the daily bread.
