Street scene
An everyday scene at The Cross in Troon in 1908 and it’s a lot less frenetic than today. Young ladies on bicycles are crossing from Ayr Street into Templehill, and a young lad is carrying a basket of messages across the road. The wee boy watching the roadsweeper is barefoot.
