A former military intelligence analyst is stepping into his new role as a sea safari manager at a top hotel.

Will Flower has been appointed as Glenapp Castle’s Hebridean sea safari manager- a unique experience which the fivestar hotel, in Ballantrae, is becoming renowned for.

On the sea safari, guests are whisked off on the Glenapp Castle Boat to spot dolphins, minke whales, puffins, eagles and basking sharks, before they settle on the remote island of Jura for the night, dining and camping under the stars at the hotel’s glamping site.

And ensuring guests have all they need to enjoy the experience to the fullest, both on board and onshore, is outdoor lover Will, who will utilise his military background and organisational skills throughout the trip.

Will was a British Army Phase One Training Instructor from 2017-2019, and an Intelligence Analyst in HM Forces.

Glenapp Castle has also hired Sandy Campbell as their new skipper. Sandy has voluntarily served for 21 years for the coast guard team and was born and raised on the west coast of Scotland. Glenapp Castle’s Managing Director, Jill Chalmers, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be expanding the team and for Will to be joining at such an exciting time for the hotel.”
