Gordon Bryce has a long family association with Ayrshire, with his paternal grandparents from the Cumnock area.

He said: “Like many of you I remember the sunny days, prosperity and fun that Ayr enjoyed in the warm summers of the 1970s-1980s. Our political party is fielding over 80 candidates in this election.

“We want practical solutions implemented to bring about change rather than political correctness and dogma enforced from Holyrood.

“If elected I will bring that positive change.”
