An entertaining all-out zombie assaultopening sets thetonewith torpedo-style head first attacks by the flesh munchers filmed in Glasgow’s George Square – and it’s fun pointing outthe spots where you’ll likely have satand scoffed a sausageroll once or twice.

These are fast, not plodding, zombies and after some gyrating reminiscentofThe Exorcistwhen first bitten, theythrow themselves aboutwith reckless abandon.

The finalset piece is a much smaller affair but director Marc Foster utilises some nice tricks to make sure it’sa tight,gripping climax.
