A free talk will explore the letters between old friends Robert Burns and Frances Dunlop later this month.

Robert Burns Birthplace Museum’s Highlight Talks continue in the Robertson Room on Wednesday, May 25 from 2.30pm - 3.30pm.

Dr Moira Hansen of Glasgow University will present ‘A Friendship Dearest To My Soul: The Correspondence of Robert Burns and Mrs Frances Dunlop’.

All are welcome to join and learn about their friendship and why it was so important to Burns.

On Wednesday, June 22 in ‘Burns of Note’, Marc Sherland, Immediate Past President of the Robert Burns Worldwide Federation, gives an account of the fascinating connections between Robert Burns and paper money.
