Residents’ donation appeal
A care home appealed for gardening equipment to help residents enjoy spending time outdoors.
Staff at Malin Court Care Home, Maidens, have put out a call for donations likes of gardening furniture, tools, plants and ornaments. to brighten up their outdoor space, to match the revamp currently underway inside the home.And with art supplies on hand, donations in need of a little love or lick of paint will gladly be accepted.
Resident Phyllis Biggar, aged 80, said: “Gardening has always been something I’ve enjoyed, particularly when flowers are in bloom and the whole place looks a little sunnier.
