MATTY’S RIDE

Matty Hatton is a young lad from Loughborough suffering from cancer who, back in July, had a few friends round to cheer him up – 350 of them on motorbikes, to be precise.

It was the idea of Francesca Pearson, a cancer survivor herself, who’d only been riding for six months at the time, and she worked hard and tirelessly to pull it off. It started as just an idea, just her and a couple of mates, and exploded over social media with thousands of people showing support, and wanting to ride and make Matty feel that he’s not alone – a testament to the kindness of strangers, and the love of the biking community.
