BSA ARE BACK!

At Motorcycle Live! at the NEC in December a newly relaunched BSA, a new Anglo-Indian venture, debuted their new offering

– the 652cc BSA Gold Star.

The new Goldie is, as you’d imagine, a single-cylinder beast but, because of these green mafia times we live in, it’s now a water-cooled single with four valves per cylinder, fuel-injection, digital ignition, and a catalytic converter. The engine makes 45bhp at 6,000rpm, and 55Nm of torque, and really looks the part with its RHS engine covers that really hark back to the golden age of Beezer singles. It’s a prettylooking thing all round actually – most people at the NEC, and on our Facebook group, like the look of it, me included.
