CHRIS GANLEY

-

At this year’s Nabbed Rally, Nik was helped judge the bike show by Chris Ganley, a British Army veteran who, after losing his arm in

2014, and undergoing rehabilitation, began motorcycle racing in 2017 as a focus post injury.

Supporting himself, he’s competed at a club level ever since, and has now joined True Heroes Racing – a truly unique organisation formed around a competitive motorcycle racing team, using the world of motorsport to enthuse and refocus wounded, injured and sick UK service personnel and veterans, aiming to help them gain a renewed sense of direction, improved social skills, and exposure to new experiences and technical skills among like-minded people with UK military backgrounds. This is all done through direct, hands-on involvement, and teamwork, as part of a motorcycle racing team competing at the highest levels around the UK. With the support of BSB, Chris’s racing in the Ducati TriOptions Cup aboard a Panigale V2 955, and he’ll be the first upper body injured rider to compete at this level.
