DAVIDSON LEGACY PRESERVATION GROUP

The Davidson Legacy Preservation Group is a nonprofit making group, working to preserve, retain and enhance the accessibility of the Davidson Cottage in Netherton, Angus, Scotland, the historical family home of the Davidsons of HarleyDavidson.

The cottage was put up for sale as the current owners wish to retire, but the only offers they’ve had’ve been from developers wanting to knock it down and build new houses, and so they, as a community of bikers, want such a significant part of history not to be lost.

Bill Davidson, and CEO Jochen Zeitz, from Harley visited last summer when filming the Sportster S promotional video (look up ‘From Evolution to Revolution – 2021 Sportster S’ on YouTube), and Bill commented in the video, while at the cottage, how it was an “awe- inspiring and emotional experience for me, my ancestry is here”.
