SEW-N-SEW: The weekly “SEW-n-SEW” Quilting Group is every Wednesday in the Community Hall 1-4pm. Make full use of your old sewing machine, learn to make quilts and other handmade items for your home. The kettle is always on for a cup of tea so pop in and say hello. PET DOG TRAINING: The Garregddu Canine Education Centre (establishe­d 1976 and Kennel Club Listed) at Llanfaelog Village Hall. It incorporat­es the North Wales Alsatian Club (a Kennel Club Registered Society) taking all breeds /cross breeds with their owners for instructio­n in general pet obedience. The meeting was chaired by the Vice-President, Liz Jones-Griffiths who welcomed 13 members to the first meeting of the centenary year. The New year dinner will be held on January 19. Two teams will take part in the annual AFWI quiz. Llanfaelog WI is holding a coffee morning at Rhosneigr Village Hall on Saturday 17th. Following the business part of the meeting, the president welcomed Janet Smith who led a calligraph­y workshop, which was enjoyed by everyone. The next meeting will be February 2, when the speaker will be Anne Arkle. New members are always welcome.
