MENAI Track and Field’s recent annual Christmas awards evening highlighted the athletes, coaches, volunteers and officials successes in the last 12 months.
For a club which started with a handful of athletes in 2001, Menai T and F now has more than 180 members.
The club has gone from strength to strength and boasts many athletes who have represented either regionally for North Wales or internationally for Wales, at cross country, road, track and field and the mountains.
The following athletes received awards for their performances during the 2013/14 season and these were presented by club secretary Becky JonesMorris:
Under-11s – Best Girl: Samia Jones; traeth v Bethesda Athletic, Trearddur Bay United v Meliden.

The athletics team have a wealth of talent in the 2015 squad and have set a target of four medals at the Games.
