Rachel and Clair were thanked for their support sessions for those in difficulty with their Centenary “squares”. As neither Kris Hughes nor Eflyn Owen-Jones was available, Yvonne Tatham, a Federation Advisor, was in attendance to give a wide-ranging and enjoyable illustrated talk on establishing and running an organic garden. When consulted, she welcomed the group’s involvement in community affairs, as demonstrated by its support of the local Post Office, and the feedback, although critical, on the way the recent Quiz Night was run. The President undertook to write a letter to AFWI about this. Karen’s Coconut Ring was delicious. The speaker at the next meeting on 4 March will be Gwen Owen on “Making Felt Flowers”.
