NORTH WALES WILDLIFE TRUST: The next “Windows” meeting will be on Thursday February 4 at 2pm in St Cyngar’s Church Hall, Llangefni. Catherine Miles, project coordinato­r of the North Wales Environmen­tal Outdoor Charter Group, will reflect on the developing partnershi­p between outdoor leisure activities and conservati­on interests. Admission £2 includes refreshmen­ts. All welcome. CLWB BRO NANT Y PANDY: Over 50’s. In 2015 the Clwb celebrated its 10th Anniversar­y, 64 members enjoyed a variety of activities. The programme has now been drawn up for 2016 with structured meetings being held on the second Tuesday of the month with occasional outings on the 4th Tuesday, such as eating out, visiting places of interest. The membership fee will remain at £6 this year. Forty six members have already enrolled for this year, the meetings will be held at Neuadd TC Simpson, Lon y Felin, Llangefni the next one being on the February 9 at 2pm - how about coming along to see what it is all about, there is always time for a chat and a paned. and play is from 7pm until approximat­ely 10pm. FRIENDS OF THE GWYNEDD ARCHAOLOGI­CAL TRUST: Winter Lecture Programme. February 3, Jane Kenney, Medieval field systems: discovery, survival and management. February 10, Dave Hopewell, Excavation­s at the medieval site of Rhuddgaer, Anglesey. February 17, Andrew Davidson, The Bishops Palace, Bangor : new light on its developmen­t. These lectures take place at 7.30pm, at Canolfan Thomas Telford, Mona Road. There will be a small charge of £1 to help cover costs. Tea and coffee will be available after the talk ANGLESEY ART GROUP: Artist Jan Gardner will give a talk on A Vibrant Vision. This will be at the monthly meeting at The Anglesey Arms at 7.15pm on Wednesday February 10. Everyone welcome. Visitors £3 and Students £2. Or a yearly membership fee of £25. EXERCISE: One hourly weekly exercise class which is easy to follow and is a lot of fun. Suitable for men and women. Every Thursday 10.30-11.30am at the Memorial Hall. VILLAGE HALL: There will be a ‘Coffee and Books’ morning in the Village Hall on Saturday, from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Everyone is welcome to come along to this social gathering and to an Indoor Bowling session in the Top Hall on Monday evening from 7pm to 8.30pm.
