Every Thursday in the Benllech Community & Ex-Servicemen’s Hall, 1.30pm-4pm. Offers friendly tea and chat, coach trips, Coffee Mornings, party, talks and presentations, Quizzes, Games, luncheon club etc. New members always very welcome, gentlemen as well as ladies. The club is a drop in centre for anyone who wants a happy afternoon out. Meets every week, and does its best to offer a varied programme to suit all tastes, membership until October is £10 and includes refreshments every week. Thursday July 21 Presentation H M Coastguard. July 28, light entertainment, film afternoon. Visitors always welcome for a small contribution. COFFEE MORNING: At St Andrews Church Hall, Thursday July 28 at 10am, Stalls will include: Cakes, Tombola, Raffle, Books, Bric a Brac, Nearly New Rail, Plants. Admission £1 including biscuits and freshly made percolated coffee! In aid of Benllech 50+ SAINT ANDREW’S SUMMER FAIR: Sat. July 30 from 10am to noon in the Church Hall. Variety of stalls. Admission £1 to include tea and biscuits, children free. Come and enjoy a pleasant morning in the community. TAI CHI AND QIGONG: Thursday 10am-11am. Goronwy Owen Hall. Tai Chi combines slow and gentle movement with deep breathing and relaxation. Qigong (pronounced Chi Kung) is an ancient Chinese health care system that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques and focused intention. Jeff is a Qualified Instructor with the China Bridge Center and has been teaching in this area for over 20 years.
