RNLI: Beaumaris RNLI always seeks new volunteers to help run this lifesaving service. If you are aged 17 or over, physically fit, work or live within 10 minutes of the lifeboat station and eager to join a lifesaving organisati­on then do come by. Volunteers meet every Thursday at 6pm for weekly training exercises. Lifeboat Open Day 2016 will be Saturday August 20, 11am-4pm. Until Friday, August 12. Open daily 10am-5pm. Original paintings and sculptures by local artists. CHARITY FAYRE: On Beaumaris Green on Sunday August 28, 11am-4pm. Primary aim is to provide a venue for mainly local charities and not for profit organisati­ons to raise funds. No charge for visitors. The event is being organised under the umbrella of Bangor Rotary with the blessing and assistance of Beaumaris Town Council and the County Council. Various entertainm­ents during the day. Just Terry will provide musical entertainm­ent and the Charity stalls will be arranged around the Green and in the new large marquee.
