Moelfre was packed

Bangor Mail - - FRONT PAGE -

HUNDREDS turned out to Moelfre on Saturday as the Anglesey lifeboat station held its annual open day.

The annual fundraising event saw locals and visitors alike, enjoy demonstrations and entertainment in celebration of the sterling work of the RNLI.

The Kiwi lifeboat, which made her debut last year, was also on show with a demonstration launch held to the delights of the hundreds in attendance at the village.

A spokesman said: “Another fabulous lifeboat day had by all.

“Many thanks to all the hard working fundraisers, stewards, volunteers and crew. We hope to have a final fundraising figure in the next few days.”
