Talented youngsters Shaw and Davies join Citizens
BANGOR City have added two talented youngsters to their squad.
Nineteen-year-old attacking midfielder Brayden Shaw and left-back Jordan Davies, 18, are the latest Citizens recruits.
The 6ft 4ins Shaw graduated through Bury’s youth ranks. He was a member of the North West Youth Alliance League title-winning side in 2014/15, scoring 13 goals in 11 games, before signing professionally with The Shakers last year.
Denied a breakthrough into the first-team ranks at Gigg Lane, Shaw joined Accrington Stanley at the beginning of 2016 following a successful trial period.
Shaw made his Stanley debut at Oxford in February 2016 and subsequently featured several times in Stanley’s run to the League Two play-off semi-finals, in which they narrowly lost out to eventual winners AFC Wimbledon.
Davies has joined the club on loan from Wrexham.
The highly-rated teenager hails from Coedpoeth and has emerged from the youth system at the Racecourse.
He has also been capped for Wales at under-17 level.
Both Shaw and Davies made their full debuts for City in last Sunday’s 2-0 defeat to Gap Connah’s Quay.
