Zip wires top world thrills list
TWO high-adrenaline attractions in North Wales are on a global list of the top 20 extreme adventures in the world.
Travel Supermarket say they have scoured the globe to find the best thrills to compile their list.
But people in North Wales will not have to travel far to try out two of the attractions, with the 100mph wires at Zip World Velocity, Bethesda, top of the pile and the catapult ‘blob’ at Surf Snowdonia, Dolgarrog, at number 18.
This further confirms the region as the European capital of adventure, helping bring thousands of extra visitors to the area.
Other extreme adventures on the list include bungee-jumping into a vol- cano in Chile and stormchasing in Tornado Valley in the USA.
Sean Taylor, from Zip World, said: “Zip World are humbled to be listed as number one on travelsupermarket’s list of ‘Extreme Adventures Around the World’.
“We were recently also voted in the top 10 attractions outsite London by Trip Adviser.
“We are thrilled as we continue to expand the adventure experience provision that we offer.”
