THREE ARRESTS IN DRUG RAIDS

THREE people were arrested during a series of drug raids.

Police officers swooped on three properties in Bangor as they crack down on drug dealers.

One person was arrested and controlled drugs were seized from one address on Friday morning.

That evening, a further warrant was executed in Llys Bedwyr, Bangor, where a 25-year-old Merseyside man and a 46-year-old local woman were arrested on suspicion of supplying drugs and money laundering. Class A drugs, along with a small amount of class B drugs and cash, were seized.

All those arrested have been released under investigation.

Inspector Owain Llewellyn said: “All raids are linked to Operation Rattle, specifically targeting the supply of drugs by Merseyside-based organised crime groups and we have more planned.

“It has been really pleasing to see the reaction of the local community to this enforcement action.

“I would ask that people continue to share information with us.”
