ST EDWEN’S CHURCH: Service in the Candlelit Church every Sunday at 11.15am. LLANEDWEN/LLANDDANIEL WI: On January 8, Iona Blackmann, PCSO stepped in to come to this month’s meeting as the gentleman booked was unable to attend. Iona gave information on Home Security and how to deal with Rogue Traders. She has now moved from Benllech to Amlwch. She is involved in carrying out Dementia Awareness and said that if people can see their GP early enough, it can slow down the process. She said that we should ring 101 if the matter is not of life and death seriousness, and gave out booklets and stickers for the door and how to avoid fraud, and handed out marker pens to mark expensive items in the home with your postcode. Any ladies in the area would like to join Llanedwen/Llanddaniel WI would be very welcome. The WI meet in the Llanddaniel School at 7pm on the 2nd Monday of each month (except August). For more information, ring Pauline Hughes on 01248 715170.
