STEVEN WHIT­TAKER pock­eted a hat-trick in Bodedern Ath­letic’s 6-2 thrash­ing of Pen­maen­mawr Phoenix in Welsh Al­liance Di­vi­sion Two.

Jor­dan Tay­lor (2) and Shaun Jenk­ins com­pleted the scor­ing for the An­gle­sey hosts.

Jack Grif­fiths grabbed the only net-finder in Aml­wch Town’s 1-0 tri­umph at Llannerchy­medd, and de­spite Moses Yoak putting Llan­fair­p­wll one up at Aberffraw, the hosts came back to win 2-1 through Gareth Hughes and Ieuan Lloyd.

Liam Mor­ris (2) and Con­nor Gor­don led Gaerwen to a 3-1 verdict at Blae­nau Am­a­teurs, and Mochdre Sports edged it 3-2 at Pentraeth, Josh Owen and Danny Camil­leri for the home side.

Third-place Llan­r­wst United moved to within two points of Di­vi­sion One lead­ers Conwy Bor­ough with a 3-0 win at Trearddur Bay United.

Di­vi­sion One Mynydd Llan­de­gai lost 3-2 on penal­ties to Di­vi­sion Two side Prestatyn Sports in the Mawd­dach Chal­lenge Cup after a 2-2 draw.
