Bangor Mail - - SPORT -

HOLYHEAD Rugby Club made it seven victories in succession in Division Three North last Saturday with a 31-16 success at Mold seconds.

The Flintshire hosts went into half-time with an 11-0 lead following a poor first-half display from the Holy Islanders.

Some choice words at half time and Caergybi regrouped to come out firing for the second half, improving their performance and securing a bonuspoint win on the road.

Tries for the travellers came from man-of-the-match Iwan Roberts (2), Mei Parry, Rhys Williams and Curtis Lewis. Ben Jordan added two conversions and Robyn Cox one.

Holyhead are still two points clear at the summit and this Saturday are home to the last side to beat them this season – Dinbych seconds.

Caergybi have a perfect home record of 6-0.
