Bangor Mail - - FRONT PAGE -

COPS branded drone thieves “blockheads” after they stole the flying device without one of the most important parts... the propellers.

The clueless criminals snatched the Phantom Drone from the Vape shop on Bangor High Street on Wednesday night. Pictures show the front window of the shop smashed in.

North Wales Police sent a direct message to the raiders.

In an appeal the force said: “If the blockhead thieves who stole the Phantom Drone from the Vape shop in Bangor High Street last night are wondering why it won’t fly.....well those propellers you left behind may have something to do with that! Anyone with information is asked to call North Wales Police on 101.”

Police are also investigating a separate incident where camera equipment was stolen from a car in Caernarfon.

Nikon and Sony items were taken from the vehicle which was parked on St Helens Road sometime between May 4 and 5.

Officers are urging people to keep all valuables safe and out of sight.

Anyone with information about the theft should call 101 and quote reference W0579641.
