Date and sponsor for show
THE date and a new sponsor for the popular Llaingoch Horticultural Show have been confirmed.
The 66th annual Llaingoch and District Horticultural Show will take place on Saturday, August 18 at Holyhead High School, with this year’s event kindly supported by new sponsor housebuilder Anwyl Homes, existing sponsor Stena Line ferries and other local businesses and kind individuals.
Open to members and non-members, the annual show features more than 200 classes for flowers, garden produce, handicrafts and cookery. It attracts novices and professional show-goers alike and draws entrants and visitors from across Anglesey and beyond including Ireland, Cheshire and even Scandinavia.
Show organiser and honorary secretary Ann Parry added: “We are grateful to Anwyl Homes for its support, and to Stena Line, and my other businesses and individuals, for their support. Without our sponsors the show would not take place, and I am pleased to report it is getting bigger and better every year.”
