‘Anti-social’ house shut down by cops

Bangor Mail - - NEWS -

A HOUSE at the centre of “drug-related anti-social behaviour” has been shut down by police.

A closure notice was issued by North Wales Police for 18 Llys Dylan, Maesgeirchen, Bangor, on Thursday night.

The property was sealed for 48 hours, when the landlords were due to control of the premises.

Inspector Doug Hughes of the policing team in Bangor said: “This sends out a strong message to those individuals who wish to engage in acts of criminality within the community, disrupting the peaceful lives of innocent law-abiding citizens.

“Such behaviour can have a detrimental effect on individuals and the wider community and will not be tolerated.”

He added: “We would like to thank Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd, local residents and the local community for their support in this matter and we will continue to take action against those who engage in such activity.”
