Positives in abundance for Amlwch
A BELOW-STRENGTH Amlwch put up an encouraging performance in a 2-0 defeat at Wrexham in North Wales Women’s League Division Two.
Wrexham got the goals in the first half, twice profiting from defensive errors by Amlwch as Jodie Richards and Phoebe Rintoul found the net.
Amlwch manager Tony Fitzmaurice said: “On another day it could have easily gone the other way. With Cer Gadd, Paige Musgrave and Charley Smith missing we were far from at our strongest.
“We now look forward to this coming Sunday when we host Mountain Rangers.”
