A BE­LOW-STRENGTH Aml­wch put up an en­cour­ag­ing per­for­mance in a 2-0 de­feat at Wrex­ham in North Wales Women’s League Di­vi­sion Two.

Wrex­ham got the goals in the first half, twice prof­it­ing from de­fen­sive er­rors by Aml­wch as Jodie Richards and Phoebe Rin­toul found the net.

Aml­wch man­ager Tony Fitz­mau­rice said: “On an­other day it could have eas­ily gone the other way. With Cer Gadd, Paige Mus­grave and Charley Smith miss­ing we were far from at our strong­est.

“We now look for­ward to this com­ing Sun­day when we host Moun­tain Rangers.”
