Bro bouncing back over bridge

-

A 4-0 SUCCESS at Waunfawr ensured that for a second week on the bounce Bro Goronwy took an away win back over the bridge to boost their Gwynedd League campaign.

The visitors scored their first on 19 minutes.

Waunfawr’s Richard Jones smashed the ball against the post from a tight angle for the hosts before forcing Jonny Sweetser-Hawkes into a double close range save, firstly palming away then excelling with his feet while sat on the floor.

After beginning life in the league with two heavy defeats, Mynydd Tigers responded positively by whipping Bontnewydd 5-0. Ian Burgess, Kieran Bullock (2), Herbie Hofsteede and Chester Lloyd bagged the home net-finders.
