The move is intended to improve access to Bangor University’s hidden museum collections and is part of the partnership between Storiel Bangor and the university.

Victoria Rogers, president of the Federation of Museums and Art Galleries of Wales, said: “The aim is to inspire visitors to learn more about some of the amazing arts and heritage stories on their doorstep through a variety of different experiences.

“With half term and Hallowe’en coinciding with the festival, it provides an opportunity to do something with all the family, so I’d urge you to check out what’s on in your local area and get exploring.”

The museum will be open to the public on Saturday, November 3 between 11am and 3pm.

Entry is free and no booking is required.

The Brambell Natural History Museum is located at the Brambell Building, Deiniol Road, Bangor, LL57 2UW (opposite Asda).
