BENLLECH 50+: Meet every Thursday in the Benllech Community Hall from 2pm-4pm. May 9, Musical Entertainment ‘Singing for Pleasure Group’, accompanied by Jan Austin, Visitors welcome. May 16 Presentation: Life of Lord Anglesey by Peter Simpson. MESSY CHURCH: on Sat, May 18 from 2pm to 4pm at St Andrew’s Benllech. Come along for a relaxed but fun afternoon. Crafts, stories and games followed by sandwiches, cakes and lots more. Admission is free but children must be accompanied by an adult.
ISLE OF ANGLESEY FLOWER CLUB: Always dreamt of working with flowers and foliage to make floral arrangements? Then come along to Isle of Anglesey Flower Club on Tuesday May 21 at 7.30pm in the Community & Ex Servicemen’s Hall, Benllech, to learn how to make a small leaf covered container with a floral arrangement inset. We can provide the fixtures and fittings needed but you will need to bring your own medium sized evergreen leaves, some flowers, scissors, an old spoon and a medium sized round plate, saucer or dish to put the arrangement in.
