ST MARY’S CHURCH: Sunday May 12 Bilingual Family Service at 11am. The Spring Fair will be held at the Community Centre on Saturday May 18 between 10am and noon, usual stalls: cakes, plants, tombola, raffle etc. Donations for the stalls are most welcome and can be brought to the Community Centre between 9 and 10 on the morning. A Christian Aid service will be held at Capel Mawr on Sunday May 19 at 10am. On Saturday May 25 a Voluntary Gardening session will be held on Church Island between 10am and noon, and on the same evening at St Mary’s a Concert will be held by a choir from Elizabethtown College, Pennsylvania at 7.30pm. A Pilgrim Service for Healing and Wholeness will be held at St Tysilio’s on Wednesday May 29 at noon, top gate open to vehicles from 11.30am.

MENAI BRIDGE BAND PORTHAETHWY: The band rehearses on Mondays and Fridays 7-9pm, beginners and intermediates meeting on Thursdays 6.30-8pm. MENAI BRIDGE COMMUNITY HERITAGE TRUST: The Menai Heritage Centre Museum at Canolfan Thomas Telford Centre (opposite Waitrose) is open from 10am-5pm every Wednesday and Thursday until October 31. Entrance £3, accompanied children (under 16) free.
