SEAFOOD DIS­COV­ERY DAY

MORE than 2,000 peo­ple swarmed to Menai Bridge to cel­e­brate the food be­neath our lo­cal waters at a fes­ti­val ded­i­cated to the seafood of North Wales.

Dy­lan’s restau­rant in Menai Bridge hosted the free Seafood Dis­cov­ery Day at a nearby Porth Daniel boat­yard, where there was sea shanties, cook­ery demon­stra­tions, work­shops, fish­er­men telling their tales as well as live mu­sic.

Fun was had by all from the set­ting over­look­ing the Menai Strait with mer­maids, mus­sels and chil­dren’s en­ter­tai­ment.
