Twist and Shout through 60s

THE Swinging Sixties come alive when acclaimed theatre show Twist and Shout comes to town promising a nostalgic and fun-packed musical journey back in time.

Music lovers are invited to return to a time when skirts got shorter and hair got longer as a West End cast revive the hits of The Beatles, Herman’s Hermits, Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Rolling Stones, Cilla Black, Manfred Mann, Dusty Springfield, Lulu, Sandy Shaw and many more.

Show promoter David Halford of Artistes International Management says that the musical powerhouse of a show begins with the explosion of Brit Pop in 1962, taking audiences through to the era of Flower Power and Free Love of the late Sixties.

Forty songs are packed into this lavish production which promises to “get you on your feet and leave you dancing in the aisles”.

Twist and Shout will appear at Pavilion Theatre in Rhyl on June 1 at 7.30pm. Box office on 01745 330000 or visit the website rhylpavilion.co.uk
